The societies private collection includes family histories, census records, microfilm, publications and other materials for genealogical research. The society does not charge for the use of its research facilities, but always welcomes donations of monies and research materials to add to its holdings. The Society publishes the Carroll County Historical Quarterly four times per year. Though efforts are made to publish only factual material, neither the society nor its members are responsible for errors of fact or judgment which may appear in printed material included in any society publications. We reserve the right to edit all material submitted. Any person interested in subscribing to the purpose of the Society may become a member upon payment of their dues in advance for one year. Membership is effective on a fiscal year basis, from January 1 through December 31, following payment of annual dues. Membership dues are currently $25.00 per year which includes a subscription to the Carroll County Historical Quarterly.
